Filming Day 2

 We have officially finished filming!!

I feel like I have been saying for a long time that we need to finish filming, and it's finally done! Josh, Abby C, and Abby O came over last night and we figured out which scenes needed to be redone. We only had to fix scenes 6, 7, and 9 from the first trailer as shown in the storyboard post. Jenna was in scene 6 where her and Abby were looking at the camera together and Josh would mysteriously walk up behind them. Unfortunately, Jenna was unavailable for last night and no one could do another day, so we had to cut Jenna out of that scene. It won't make too much of a difference for the storyline. It also helps that we are making trailers and not a full film, that way we can take short clips and piece them together. My worst fear is that when we start editing it won't be long enough, BUTTT that's a problem we hopefully won't have to face. We also posted on the social media account a few times last night with some BTS for the fans!
Here is a picture of us filming scene 6. We had to redo this one since the first time we did it, it was daytime and didn't look very scary or sci-fi/fantasy-like. We also had a costume change for Josh. He was on his way to a birthday party at the beach last time we filmed, so he was shown wearing a bright pink bathing suit. Of course, that would not work for this so he wore dark sweatpants and a black hoodie. Abby was wearing the same outfit as the first time we filmed, but it doesn't really make a difference since this would be a different day in the trailer anyway. We also redid the car chase scene which looked much better at night and added to the dramatic effect.
This is a screenshot of one of the clips from scene 9, the cliffhanger. Bennett left a note on Olivia's car saying, "give me back what's MINE." I would have to play with the lighting and edit it a little but this is a potential thumbnail image. I like the composition of the picture as the note is placed on the left third and makes the scene increasingly mysterious. While we haven't done much for the print component yet, I am definitely thinking about it a lot.

That's it for today but my next post will be about trailer components and figuring out what we need to include (some technical elements).
